Dickson is one of the oldest suburbs in Canberra. Its nearby suburbs include O’Connor ACT, Watson ACT, Hackett ACT and Lyneham ACT. It is considered to be a focal point of the Inner North Canberra.

Dickson is a suburb of Canberra with lots of blossoms in spring time. Dom's barber shop is a classic old time place where I have had my hair cut many times (that was when I had hair :). I also have a fond memory of taking my Dad there.

If you are interested in a history of Canberra and the surrounding district including Dickson ACT, this is a great page to browse. They did not have very many Canberra chiropractors back in those days.

This article titled “Dickson shops revitalisation won't change inequality in north Canberra” is fascinating.  I just wish it talked about how great it is to have a Canberra chiropractor nearby.

The Vietnamese House Restaurant has great food at good prices. They have been very accomodating to my special dietary needs.

My Rainbow-Dreams is as Dickson Vegetarian Café. They have online or take-away burger & fresh juice. I have enjoyed their sit-down meal service many times. They have great coffee and cake but my favourite is their Vegetarian rice paper rolls. It is located just below Dickson Psychology.

I took this photo of the Lyneham Wetlands and my daughter on our walk back from the Dickson shops. She came to receive chiropractic care from me at the Body Mind Empowerment Centre. Her first experience of chiropractic care was just a few hours after her birth.
